German fenestration specialist aluplast, a market leader in uPVC windows and doors, has announced an investment of 2 million Euros over a period of three years in its Indian operations aimed at further consolidating its leadership position and ramping up its R&D and production capacities in the country.

During its participation as Supporting Partner at the recently held ZAK Doors and Windows Expo in Mumbai, aluplast announced the launch of two new Made-in-India uPVC windows and door products – the Prima Slide and Ideal 1000 range of products. The Prime Slide is available in 2 and 3 track with additional track options. The Ideal 1000 range has a 3-chamber profile system with outward opening windows and accommodates glass up to 24 mm in thickness. Both the product ranges stand out for their durability, minimal maintenance, and energy efficiency and are engineered to perform in the diverse climatic conditions of India thereby ensuring long-lasting performance for homeowners and builders.

aluplast India recorded a turnover of Rs. 800 million last year, while globally the company posted a turnover of over 600 million euros.
